Job Description


Shipping/Order Processing Clerk responsibilities include ensuring that all shipping documents are completed accurately and timely in accordance to company policy. Work with production/material personnel, to support timely delivery of product. Meticulously maintain appropriate record logs of shipments. The individual in this position should be personable a problem solver, reliable, ethical, responsible, and able to adapt to the forces around him/her-customers, suppliers, department employees, co-workers, and manufacturer’s employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process & file shipping documents
  • Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents
  • This very visible position must be able to work with all employees at all levels
  • This position will require a great deal of focus on detail, be very organized
  • Must have communication skills both written and verbally with customer and carriers as required
  • Gather and maintain all data and records relative to shipping activities
  • Assure orders and shipping quantities match picking list/invoice documents
  • Brings attention to any discrepancies in paper work or damaged equipment or parts
  • Assist in resolving any discrepancies and other tasks as required
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to learn the duties assigned and performs them adequately

Job Requirements

Knowledge Skills & Experience:

This position requires that the selected candidate have knowledge of Data Entry.

Education: High School is required.

PC Skills Required: MS Office, Excel and Word

Desired Experienced: One year job related experience

FedEx and UPS shipping experience required.

Stand up Forklift.
