Job Description

  • Recruiting is one of Coast's key strengths
  • Work closely with Client Management to meet and exceed all expectations.
  • Ensure that all customer’s labor requirements are consistently met each day, and that all new job orders are recruited/ filled in a timely manner.
  • Greet and check in employees at shift starting times which begin.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations with employees.
  • Coaching, counseling and development of temporary staffing employees relative to attendance, productivity and overall job performance.
  • Development of recognition and retention strategies to reduce turnover.
  • Maintain effective communications with customer and employees.
  • Measurement and reporting of key metrics used to evaluate the performance of the site.
  • Analysis of key performance indicator measurements as a foundation for deployment of continuous improvement strategies.
  • Accurate processing of payroll and daily management of timekeeping systems.
  • Perform quality control functions to ensure the customer is satisfied across all levels of their organization.
  • Perform necessary employee documentation in computer system.
  • Development and presentation of quarterly performance reviews and solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Execution of effective recruiting strategies to maintain a proactive pool of employees to meet large volume staffing needs for ASAP orders.
  • Safety inspections with customer and Coast safety management team.
  • Maintain accurate employee files and appropriate pre-assignment paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance to the contract between the customer and Coast.
  • Recruit candidates across a wide variety of production /Mfg support job disciplines.
  • Typical jobs include Assemblers, Material Handlers, Shipping/ Receiving, Forklift, Production.
  • Will have access to CareerBuiler, Monster, Craigslist, etc.
  • Expected to Recruit through varies sources to ensure customer needs are met. Meet with local employment help centers and network appropriately to recruit and retain a candidate pool.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

-Extremely strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English).
-Self-motivated starter.
-Strong organizational skills a must.
-Experience in the staffing industry

-Knowledge of recruiting processes, strong motivational skill, innovative and interpersonal skills

-Experience recruiting and sourcing qualified candidates for temporary and temp-to-hire positions for all levels of light industrial Experience: 1+ years of recruiting or HR experience in the staffing industry with high volume on-site accounts          IF YOU WANT TO LEARN THE STAFFING INDUSTRY - WE WILL TEACH YOU THE RIGHT WAY!  WE NEED TEAM MEMBERS WHO WANT TO BE A PART OF SOMETHING SPECIAL!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Skills/Aptitudes: Must be able to multi task, work under pressure, very flexible with hours, good customer service skills, excellent time management skills.  Word, Excel. Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.  

Level:  Works under minimal supervision.  Task oriented.  Exercises a degree of discretion and independent judgment.
