Job Description

Are you looking for a rewarding career with a rapidly growing company in the staffing business? Coast Personnel is looking for a seasoned recruiter that can staff for multiple clients and continue to grow one of our largest branches! 

-Assist walk in candidates when they come into the office. This includes responding ASAP when other recruiters are assisting clients or other candidates.

-Follow up on any candidates that e-mail, fax, or mail their resumes.

-Recruit candidates across a wide variety of disciplines, using all available tools to fill all orders in a timely and efficient manner.

-Complete all new hire paperwork, including any internal paperwork (such as a NHA) in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.


-Review and follow up on weekly Expected Time Report sent by payroll. Get time for payroll ASAP for anyone that is determined to be missing time. For all individuals that are determined to no longer be working, process a term.

-Maintain notes section in Temps Plus for all candidate submittals, interviews and terminations.

-Interfacing with applicants/clients to ensure that client needs are met and qualified workers are sent to all open jobs.

-Maintain a rapport/ relationship with employee’s currently working and seeking employment.

-Occasional site tours as needed to provide more detail of job description and job environment. 

-Communicating with On-Site Recruiters, Managers and Sales, and Clients for complete and accurate job details.

-Attend all recruiter/ req meetings (dates and number of meetings are subject to change at any time at the discretion of management).

-Keep job req log up to date with all new, closed, filled, or on hold orders.

-Posting open jobs online as needed through Career Builders, Monster, Craigslist and local unemployment agencies, etc.

-Attend job fairs and host employment related functions.

-Meet minimum Sales Leads goals each week as assigned by management.

Other duties as needed from time-to-time be assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:  Education equal to high school diploma, and Min. 2 yr. exp. or BA degree.

Knowledge: Understanding of organization, and communication with others, general knowledge of staffing industry


Skills/Aptitude: Must be able to multi task, work under pressure, very flexible with hours, good customer service skills.  Bilingual is a plus.

Level:  Expected to take initiation, works well both supervised and un-supervised, has EXCELLENT follow through and complete all assigned tasks.
