PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  •  Learn and maintain proficiency in company’s products, processes and services.

  •  Work closely with field representatives to transition projects from specification to bid stage to eventual P.O.

  •  Manage commercial project pipeline in the assigned territory.

  •  Serve as primary point of contact for internal & external contacts associated with each assigned project.

  •  Demonstrate the company’s ability to satisfy client requirements and communicate the business value of our solution.

  •   Proactively develop new projects and increase knowledge of key markets in assigned territory.

  •   Research projects and opportunities. Master and maintain knowledge of clients’ businesses, competition and latest industry news and trends.

  •    Utilize HubSpot and Dodge Analytics to acquire, develop and track projects.

  •   Call prospective customers; establish bidding/buying cycles, determine customer needs, create a customer/supplier relationship and follow-up on bids/projects.

  •   Winning bids/Securing large-scale projects.

  •   Prepare sales information for and distribute to customers.

  •   Identify buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for each account.

  •   Secure and place orders with Client's team members taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.

  •   Initiate projects through outbound calls and emails (inside sales).

  •   Update, manage and maintain sales database.

  •   Initiate and further relationships with clients through emails, telephone and meetings set for field sales team.

  •   Communicate all project details and updates to the field sales organization through weekly calls, emails and reports.

  •   Coordinate, discuss and obtain material discounts approved per project.

  •   Identify and work to overcome hurdles for each project and client.

  •   Find creative solutions to close each project and create a lasting relationship with clients and field team.

  •   Prepare bid requests for the Cut-To-Size program and submit and coordinate with fabrication providers.

  •   Manage and coordinate material for upcoming projects through the master order and project warehouses.

  •   Meet or exceed established goals on a consistent basis.

  •   Provide detailed marketplace feedback to sales representatives for future program development.

  •   Communicate with management regarding meetings, schedule and territory activities.


 ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 


  •   Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, blitz and telemarketing events as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager.

  •   Attend at least one sales meeting with their team per year.

  •   Update and maintain the Sales Database daily.

  •   Other duties as assigned.










Job Requirements





  KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 


  •  3 or more years sales support experience with proven track record.

  •  Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  •  Proficient in MS-Office Suite, especially MS-Excel.

  •  Competency in performing online research.

  •  Familiarity with construction industry terminology; comfortable speaking with General Contractors, Architects, etc.

  •  Ability to foster effective, friendly, and solid relationships with sales team and clients through phone calls, emails, and assistance.

  •  Applicants should possess an intuitive understanding and familiarity with business development.

  •  Ability to develop and deliver presentations.

  •  Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.

  •   Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  •   Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, as needed and defined.

  •   Oracle experience preferred.
