Facilities Assistant 1

We have a national client looking for a Facilities Assistant to join the team In Brea, CA.  This person will be responsible for the overall appearance and upkeep of the office.  Great, diverse, dynamic team environment. 

Note:  This position will start in Brea, but the office will be moving by the end of the year to Irvine.  Interested candidates should be open to commuting to both locations, as this is a long-term assignment.  

Job Purpose:

To assist in the Facilities Maintenance Department

Nature of Duties:

●  General Janitorial daily duties. Office, Break room and Restrooms

●  Dust mopping and wet mopping of common areas

●  De-trash Office, Break rooms and Restrooms

●  Wipe break room tables and chairs

●  Cleaning break room appliances, such as microwaves and coffee machines

●  Clean up after event in break room

●  Emergency clean up in the event of spills or accidents

●  Stocking coffee and cleaning supplies

●  Prepare coffee in break room if needed

●  Willingness to work weekends if needed

●  Understand and adhere to Company Policies

●  Understand and adhere to Company Safety Rules

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

●  High School Diploma or Equivalent

●  1 year working in previous Janitorial position preferred

●  General understanding of cleaning techniques and methods
