Engineering Services Technician

  • Support internal and external customers in the cable/Telco area by providing onsite technical support and implementing immediate repairs while displaying exceptional professionalism, outstanding communications skills with top-notch customer service.
  • Troubleshoot and support automated test stations, resolve customer issues related to set top testing, handle all levels of product troubleshooting which may require working within a test bench evaluating cabling, hardware and/or computer systems. 
  • Identify, track, document and communicate service related issues and outcome. 
  • Experience in electronics troubleshooting/repair preferred and familiarity with Telco industry including set top box theory, DOCSIS, modems, VOIP, headend both DAC and DCNS is a plus. 
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc. as well as internet and LAN technology knowledge. 
  • 2-year degree preferably in Electronics Technician/Technologist or related discipline, certification in a technology field, or equivalent combination of formal training and work experience is required.
