Job Description

-Supervise live scanning of raw material out of inventory once it is weighed by the staging department.


-Ensure the raw material sections of the warehouse are clean for the purpose of maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment.


-Evaluates situations for the purpose of taking appropriate action and/or directing to appropriate personnel for resolution


-Inspects warehouse equipment for the purpose of maintaining equipment in safe operating condition.


-Maintains appropriate records and inventory of all stocked items under his/her control for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information


-Stocks equipment, materials and supplies for the purpose of maintaining required inventory levels that will ensure availability of items when requested.


-Issue formulas to staffing unit to prepare pallets of raw material as needed for specific manufacturing jobs per the production schedule.


-Hold staging Unit accountable to stage jobs 2 days in advance to eliminate delays in production.


-Counts inventory of raw materials when requested


-Completes paperwork needed to adjust inventory when discrepancies arise


-Puts partial raw material bags and packages back into their locations after staging personnel has finished weighing out their required product.


-Supervise and motivate Stagers and Inventory Clerks to work safe and efficient in their daily task given.


-Verify raw materials are bring pulled by FIFO and returned to their proper locations.


-Holds employees accountable for their performance and give corrective actions when necessary.


-Review employees annually on safety, performance, and attendance.

Job Requirements

-Minimum High school degree or equivalent


-Minimum of 3 years employment in a warehouse environment


-Strong ability to Organize and manage multiple priorities


-Ability to effectively adapt to change


-Ability to read and write English


-Basic computer knowledge (Excel and Word)


-Ability to stay focused and alert; utilize basics math skills, Audit paperwork; carry out routine tasks with appropriate follow-up


-Is able to operate a forklift safely


-Must be able to work overtime and week-ends as necessary
