MONDAY-FRIDAY: 6:00AM-2:30PM

SUMMARY

Monitorsraw and finished material for conformance to customer and/or internalspecifications by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:

  1. Monitors manufacturing processes for conformance to internal work instructions.

  1. Monitors raw and finished material conformance to customer and/or internal specifications

  1. Documents all nonconformances and requests corrective action.

  1. Audits implementation of corrective actions.

  2. Performs audits throughout manufacturing for conformance to internal procedures.

  1. May need to train assembly associates to workmanship standards.

  1. Perform other duties as assigned.

  1. Read blueprints & specifications

  1. Accept or reject finished items

  1. Report inspection results and data

  1. Generate spreadsheets for data collection

  1. Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments

    Supervisory Responsibilities:  This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:  High school diploma or general educationdegree (GED); plus 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalentcombination of education and experience. Must be certified or trained to J-STD-001 soldering standard.  Must be able to read engineeringdrawings.  Must be able to use calipersand other measuring gauges.

Language Skills:  Ability to read, and interpret such as safetyrules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Abilityto write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groupsof customers or associates of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, anddivide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, anddecimals.  Ability to compute rate,ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understandingto carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a fewconcrete variables in standardized situations.
