Job Description

HR Generalist / HR Manager


  • Oversee and maintain the Human Resources Department; planning, organizing, and controlling all activities of the department

  • Develop and administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems

  • Monitor performance evaluation program and revise as necessary

  • Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures, preparing and maintain Employee Handbook

  • Develop and maintain regulatory records and reports as required

  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plan, ensure selection of highly qualified personnel

  • Establish and maintain department records and reports; recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed

  • Participate in administrative staff meetings; attending other meetings with business partners

  • Review insurance plans and quotes and propose appropriate plans within company budget

  • Liaise with staffing agencies on temporary employees hiring

  • Handle workers compensation cases and complete OSHA reporting requirements

  • Provide necessary support and resources for EHS, SER and HR

Job Requirements

HR Generalist / HR Manager


  • Bachelor Degree in business or related field preferred

  • Prefer 5-7 years related HR generalist experience

  • Broad generalist background including coaching and counseling, performance management, employee involvement, team building, as well as compensation and benefits

  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations

  • Experience in implementing and administering performance programs,

  • Must have demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining diverse employee talent, including creating and implementing recruitment strategies

  • Exceptional project and personnel management skills

  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast paced environment

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel is essential

  • Exhibit extraordinary, discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management team
