Job Description

Seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented candidate to report to our Head of Outdoor Department. The ideal candidate will be able to think critically, be self-motivated, and process driven. Most important to the success of this role is a willing-to-learn mentality, hard work, and persistence.

Primary Responsibilities

•         Assist in developing new Outdoor Furniture products, which entails taking product from concept phase to production phase.

•          Continually evaluates and searches for improvements to existing products according to changing customer needs, product complaints, or internal production issues.

•         Conduct market research supporting the product development process. Help ensure products meet key criteria and competitive benchmarks. Assist with market and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities.

•         Work closely with Outdoor Buyer in day-to-day tasks relating to Product Development.

Help communicate and coordinate between departments to usher projects through the developmental process, launch phase, and early lifecycle.

Job Requirements

•         Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university

•         Proficient in Excel

•         Detail Oriented

•         Excellent oral and written communication

•         Proven ability to fully own multiple tasks/projects, to prioritize, and adapt to a fast paced environment

•         Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills

•         Intellectual curiosity and a passion for lifelong learning

•         Has a keen eye for design

Preferred Requirements 

•         Auto-CAD or Sketch Works – Basic Knowledge

Knowledge of current trends and styles in furniture market
