Electronics manufacturer and recent recipient of 2016 NJ Manufacturer of the Year, is seeking Sheet Metal Workers to join its dedicated world class manufacturing team. This company designs and manufactures a broad range of high-power DC power products for markets such as electric vehicles, particle accelerators, solar, and national defense. The Sheet Metal Worker will be responsible to fabricate, detail, and powder coat parts for the company's high-tech products. They operate clean sheet metal facilities with brand new equipment. 

Sheet Metal Fabricator: $14 / hr

Production Assembler: $13 / hr (Level I); $14.50 / hr (Level I+/II)

Transformer Assembler: $14 / hr (Level I); $15.50 / hr (Level I+/II)

Stock Clerk: $13.50 / hr

Shifts would be Mon-Thurs 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or Tues-Fri 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Sheet Metal Worker:

The qualified candidate should have:
Fabricating and finishing aluminum, copper, steel and plastic parts. 
Powder coating, masking, and washing parts are desired.
Pemming aluminum parts.

The qualified candidate should have good mechanical aptitude, and a willingness and ability to handle a variety of tasks. Experience with operating a pemming machine and punch press is a plus. In addition, the candidate should have the ability to read mechanical schematics with previous experience in production.

Inspect grounds, buildings, and other features to identify required maintenance tasks, minimize liability concerns and ensure excellent appearance at all times.
Effectively communicate with Facilities Manager and other Team Members.
From time-to-time, aid in the packaging of goods for shipment.

Production Assembler:

The qualified candidate should have:
Ability to work with tools and basic math.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow instructions.
Stock Clerk/Inventory Coordinator:

Specific responsibilities include:

Keeping inventory stocked and managing inventory, including cycle counts, safety stock, dead stock, fill rates, and reconciliation coordination of all components.
Performs picking function using mobile barcode scanning to make up necessary kits of electronic parts and ascertaining that all parts are available and accounted for in kit.
Assist with replenishment to the warehouse from Assembly/Fulfillment.
Attending to each department site to distribute materials. 
Assist with general warehouse duties as directed by Logistics Manager.

The requirements for the Inventory Coordinator are as follows:

Experience working with stock control systems and processes; preference given to candidates with background in electronics manufacturing. 
Experience managing and assessing stock levels against minimum quantities and driving purchasing and receiving activities from such activities. 
Ability to reconcile inventory discrepancies as they arise.
Strong math, verbal and written communications skills.
Must be detail oriented with the ability to follow instructions.
Working knowledge of ERP systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to adapt to and work within a team environment.
Ability to prioritize work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work additional hours when needed.
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
High school degree or equivalent.

Transformer Assembler:

The position's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Laminating transformers
Cutting and soldering wires
Operating the oven and varnishing transformers
Use the overhead pulley to transport larger transformers around the department
Reading blue prints and schematics 
Brazing metal and other material
Winding coils (with or without machinery assistance)
Following and completing specific work orders

Job Requirements

The prospective candidate should have the following basic skills:
Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to work with tools and basic math.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
Preferred experience in wiring, coil winding, soldering, welding/brazing
Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow instructions.
