Job Title: AOI ( Automated Optical Inspection) Operator
Shift: Mon-Fri 2:30pm to 11pm 2nd shift.
Nature of work:
Job Purpose: With general supervision, the AOI/X-Ray Operator carries out the broadest variety, or most complex tasks in a highly structured, repetitive environment. A key part of this role is to demonstrate the most complex production tasks in a consistent manner, to produce and/or test a high volume of quality product in the shortest possible time, and/or to maintain aggressive production schedules. Alternatively, this role may be extremely flexible to work on most or all products and processes within the manufacturing operation, dependent upon the need within the production schedule.
Nature of Duties:
• Identifies defects and/or reworks boards
• Maintains logs and internal documentation and performs routine housekeeping chores
May assist in Mechanical Assembly, Packaging and other areas if required
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- Operate various hand tools
- Perform repetitive tasks on assembly line
-MUST HAVE AUTOMATED BOARD INSPECTION and CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY
-MUST know how to set-up feeders and identify feeder sizes
-Must apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures
-Must have the ability to read, understand and follow manufacturing process instructions
Requirements:
• Able to communicate in English (verbal and written)
• 1-3 years experience in a specialized skill involving complex automated production equipment and/or processes
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must have good vision
• Must be able to learn on the fly
• Basic shop mathematical ability
• Good problem solving skills
